über das stück: eine begradigte zusammensetzung von einem albanischen hochzeitslied und einem volkstanz für dudelsack aus mazedonien. arrangement im stil eines schnellen lindy-hop.

über den text: wahrscheinlich erhielt der tanz den namen lindy-hop, nachdem charles lindbergh über den atlantik gehüpft war. unser text ist eine hommage ans flugerlebnis, teile sind einem gedicht des im 2. weltkrieg gefallenen piloten der rcaf, pilot officer gillespie magee, entnommen. danke.
